After the first year I felt that i had developed my skills in all expertise areas except one: business and entrepreneurship. So I enrolled myself in the courses: design innovation methods, technology entrepreneurship, organization entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship in action. These courses expanded and deepened my knowledge of entrepreneurship and business practices.
In addition to learning about business and entrepreneurship, I decided to broaden my knowledge in technology and realization through the courses: game design and intelligent interactive products. The goal of game-design was self-explanatory, create a functioning game at the end of 8 weeks. The goal of intelligent interactive products however, was to create an interactive product using machine learning. This resulted in: Frodo.
Frodo.
Frodo was developed in order to supply children with CP (Cerebral Palsy) with an interactive way to play with a toy car and in the process improve their motor skills. Frodo is a small car that drives based on commands given by the posture of the hand. Using a 6-axis MPU 6050 IMU, posture data was collected used to train a classification model for Frodo.
